In just a few short weeks, Degenesh (Sophia) and Yared (Levi) will be declared our children, if the Lord allows. This coming Monday the mothers will terminate their rights. My heart aches for them. Abayinesh and Chaltu, you are brave women who have chosen life for your children through adoption. May God give you peace in your decision.

I'm an elementary educator of fourteen years, mama of two fourth graders, wife of a soul man, and author of two children's books.
