Our social worker, Sue, unexpectedly emailed us on Sunday, asking us to scan our dossier immediately. She left Monday with our dossier in hand (after we “waged war for our children’s souls”-as Dom put it). It took a total of 6 hours in all (Sunday and Monday morning) to get the dossier to her. She didn’t promise anything, but it’s possible that we could see pictures of our children in 2 weeks! If she gets us into the courts by May 8th, we will only have to travel to Ethiopia once, saving us $5,000 in travel and 3 months of waiting. Please pray the Lord’s will be done, but we are requesting our kids be matched before May 8th! We are trusting the Lord whatever the outcome.
Two Weeks

I'm an elementary educator of fourteen years, mama of two fourth graders, wife of a soul man, and author of two children's books. I love puns, walking Louisville's parks, seeing my family gobble up my meals (only a few so far...The Food Network is helping), and having folks over for good conversations about the Bible. Writing is in my DNA. My mother and grandmother best expressed themselves through the pen. I feel connected to them as I write. It is my hope to reflect the image of our creative God through creative writing, something they both did so well. View all posts by My Cup Of Teach
